About Vision Arts Dance Collective VADC

Vision Arts Dance Collective was founded in 2025 as a dynamic movement community committed to redefining the dance landscape through community, creativity, and leadership.

Our mission is to provide an inclusive and collaborative convention experience for dancers and teachers alike, where they can thrive artistically and elevate the standards and conversations around all forms of dance, from professional performance to children’s competitive dance.

We champion a holistic approach to movement, merging artistry with advocacy. Through thoughtful programming, mentorship, and performance opportunities, we cultivate spaces where dancers of all backgrounds and styles feel empowered to grow, express, and lead. Whether on stage or in the studio.

Visionaries move with purpose, shaping the future of dance, one bold step at a time.

Who We Are

A community over a competition. Vision Arts Dance Collective is a convention experience for dancers ages 8-18. With a personalized approach to teaching, students are empowered to learn and experience dance in a meaningful way.

What sets our convention apart:

  •  Limited class sizes: no ballrooms past capacity where dancers can't move, let alone learn.

  • Committed faculty members who know how to teach: ever been to a convention where it's just a combo, or the choreography/music isn't appropriate? Us too, that's why we seek to offer a better experience for dancers.

  • Memories and friendships first: we're committed to offering genuine activities within our classroom for dancers to meet future friends from other studios, fostering connection over competition.

  • Awards that matter: too often at conventions, awards are handed out only to elite dancers or to the studio that brings the most kids. With our reflection award system, our faculty look for dancers with the most potential and positivity, recognizing dancers who might otherwise be overlooked.

  • We take safety seriously: you know that convention that hires that choreographer....yeah, we do too, and you won't see them on our teaching team. Our educators are real professionals who have undergone background checks.

  • Supporting Studios: our program is a supplemental experience for dancers, not a replacement for studio training.

  • Open conversations with dance teachers and studio owners: Are you a teacher who sits through conventions and never gets addressed by their staff? Or maybe you see something cool and want to ask a question. Teachers are encouraged to participate actively in convention classes!
